Different.

Yesterday was different here, we got some sad news in our little town. A car crash that caused 3 young adults to loose their lives.

The news hit pretty hard, but hit even harder when I found out that the passenger up front was a kid that graduated in my class from high school.

I only graduated 4 years ago, and this is the 4th person from my class to pass alway.

22, 21, and 20 is too young to pass away.

We had our closest friends over and had a little shindig just to get everyone close and try to have a good time, that’s what the three boys some of us knew, would have wanted.

Rest Easy to the lives lost, and to the parents of these “children” (yes, I’m 22 but to loose your life, we’re still children!), you’re in people’s thoughts!

I’ve never lost a “close friend” and now that 4 people have passed from my class, I’m just enjoying the friends that my fiancé and I do have together.

Loosing people, wether they’re close or not, can make us realize some really little things are really the big things in life.

Pick up your phone, call your friend/fiance/wife/husband/mother/dad/etc, and tell them how much they mean to YOU!

Live is too short for all this hate in this world, we need to realize how fast this all could be taken away from us.

Wow! That all happened so fast, what a tragedy. It can be scary and eye opening when we experience people our age and around us passing away. I love that you say we should pick up the phone and tell those we love how much they mean to us!

This is so sad, but it definitely can be a wake up call for us to enjoy every minute spent with the people we love and even on our own, doing something that we love. We should be more aware of how precious time is… 😦

I am so sorry to hear this. We really don’t know when our time is up, so it’s really really important to enjoy life when we can. Acknowledging mortality makes me value my life and get the most out of it.
