Can I Recommend A Few Netflix Shows?!

Since I have social anxiety, I spend ALOT of time sitting on the living room sofa, binge watching Netflix series. I currently started watching a couple new shows, one to watch when my fiance is at work, and one to watch with her when she gets home.

We’re right now waiting for Orange Is The New Black to release the new season, so in the meantime we figured we’d start a new show to get us through the month. Little did I know, I would have already finished my episodes before Nikki and I finished our show together. Enough about this, let’s get to the shows:

Okay first off, we have “Grace and Frankie”.

This is the show I decided to watch while my fiance is at work, and omg I freaking love it. I actually just watched the last episode of season 2, which is all Netflix has right now available. It’s about two older women (Grace and Frankie) who go through a divorce because their husbands (Richard and Saul) admit to being gay, and being in love with each other. It’s seriously an amazing show, Frankie is hands down my favorite character on the show. She’s a down to earth older hippie who smokes weed and lives on the beach, with an amazing sense of humor, lol. 5/5 Stars, you go Glen Coco!

Secondly, we have “Baby Daddy”.

This is the show that Nikki and I decided to watch while she was home from work. We just clicked on it to see if it would be funny, and then we seen “Barbara Jean” from “Reba” was in it, and we knew we’d love it! We’re currently on Season 3, and it’s amazing! There are 5 seasons total on Netflix so far, so a great binge watching show! The show is about a young boy (Ben) who has a drunken one night stand with a girl and said girl ends up leaving their child on his doorstep. The show is about Ben, his best friends (Tucker and Riley), his brother (Danny), and his mom (Bonnie) all raising the new baby (Emma). It’s definitely a drama/comedy tv show, and so far I’m loving it! Tucker is played by Tahj Mowry from Sister Sister, Ben is played by Jean-Luc Bilodeau from LOL, Riley is played by from Fish Hooks, Bonnie is played by Melissa Peterman from Reba. 4/5 Stars SO FAR!

Hope everyones having a good day!

Everybody’s looking forward to the weekend:)

Well today is FRIDAY! I hope ya’ll are having a good day; for once I actually feel pretty good. I’m pretty tired because I took my Effexor (my depression pill that i’m supposed to take before bed) when I woke up this morning, because I wasn’t feeling too good, but now I’m exhausted. As I sat here and was reading over everyone’s posts this morning, I had so many ideas to write about and a few rants to get off my chest, but now I’m blank.

I’d really like to write about a Netflix show that is going around lately. A blogger “friend” (Making Time for Me) said that I should try getting into “Making a Murderer“.

I went and added it to “my list” of shows on Netflix, and by the time I knew it my girlfriend and I were already done the show.

The show is about: “The ten-part documentary, written and directed by Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos, explores the story of Steven Avery, a Manitowoc County, Wisconsin man, who served 18 years in prison for the sexual assault and attempted murder of Penny Beerntsen, before being exonerated in 2003. In 2005 he was arrested in connection with the murder of Teresa Halbach, a local photographer, and convicted in 2007.[2] The series also covers the arrest, prosecution, and conviction of Avery’s nephew, Brendan Dassey, who was also charged in the murder.” -Wikipedia.

I seriously fell in love with this show within the first episode. Since I’ve seen it, I’ve signed over 25 petitions for this family and also have written a letter to the Governor of Manitowoc County. I highly believe this family was judged by their community and charged for something they had no involvement in. If I was a lawyer I’d definitely be on this case trying to free Steven and Brendan.

Have you seen this show? If so, do you believe they’re guilty or do you think they’re  innocent and seriously the victims in this case? If you haven’t seen this show, I highly recommend watching this! It’s kind of scary to think about what people can get away with and what some people get stuck with.

Let me know in the comments what you think of this show!! I’m dying to know if anyone is actually from this town and believe they’re innocent or knows this family personally and believes they’re guilty. Just the amount of evidence against Steven and Brendan was not enough to convince me that they had anything to do with either murder.
